Woo-Gi-Oh! pulls every card in the Yu-Gi-Oh! database directly from the free YGOPRODeck API — including set codes, rarities, editions, ATK/DEF, level, attribute, archetype, link markers, and pendulum scales. New sets are detected automatically and ready to import the moment they’re released. No CSV uploads. No manual data entry. No paid pricing-API subscriptions.

Every card is created as a WooCommerce variable product with NM, LP, MP, and HP condition variants — each with its own SKU built from the set code, rarity, and edition. Set your discount percentage per condition once and Woo-Gi-Oh! applies it consistently across your entire catalogue. Currency conversion from USD-denominated TCGplayer prices to your store currency happens automatically using live exchange rates (Requires free exchangerate-api.com API key).

A continuous background sweep refreshes 20 products every 60 seconds, keeping your in-stock prices aligned with live TCGplayer data — without ever locking up your admin or your store. Set a percentage above or below market price, define minimum price floors per card, and let Woo-Gi-Oh! handle the rest. You can override the calculated price on any individual card at any time.
If you’ve ever tried to run a Yu-Gi-Oh! singles store on WooCommerce, you know the problems. Every card has multiple printings across dozens of sets. Every printing has multiple rarities — Common, Rare, Super, Ultra, Secret, Ultimate, Ghost, Starlight, Quarter Century, the list keeps growing. Every rarity comes in different editions — 1st Edition, Unlimited, Limited, Duel Terminal. And every variant of every card needs to be sold in four playable conditions: Near Mint, Lightly Played, Moderately Played, Heavily Played.
For a single popular card like Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring, that’s potentially 40+ SKUs. Multiply that across the 13,000+ cards in the modern Yu-Gi-Oh! database and you have hundreds of thousands of SKUs to create, price, image, and keep updated as the secondary market shifts daily.
The two existing options for trading card stores are both bad. Generic WooCommerce inventory plugins (ATUM, Smart Manager, WP All Import) are spreadsheet tools — they make it faster to manage SKUs, but they don’t know what a Yu-Gi-Oh! card is. You still have to source the card data, the images, the variations, and the pricing yourself. TCG-specific platforms (BinderPOS, Crystal Commerce, TCG Sync, SortSwift) solve the data problem but force you off WordPress entirely — into a hosted storefront you don’t own, with monthly subscription fees that scale with your inventory.
Woo-Gi-Oh! is the third option: a WordPress plugin that knows what a Yu-Gi-Oh! card is. It speaks fluent YGOPRODeck. It generates correct WooCommerce variations for every condition. It writes correct SKUs from set + rarity + edition. It downloads card images. It refreshes prices in the background. And it does it all inside the WooCommerce store you already own, alongside the themes, payment gateways, shipping plugins, marketing tools, and SEO plugins you’ve already configured.
You keep your store. You keep your customers. You keep your data. You keep your margins.
There is no monthly fee. There is no per-SKU charge. There is no hosted checkout taking a cut of every sale. Woo-Gi-Oh! is a one-time purchase that adds Yu-Gi-Oh!-specific intelligence to the WooCommerce store you already run, with twelve months of bug fixes included so you’re not on your own when things change.
Here’s how Woo-Gi-Oh! came to exist.
Running a Yu-Gi-Oh! store has been a dream of mine for as long as I’ve been opening packs. When I finally sat down to make it happen on WordPress, I expected to find the tools waiting for me — a plugin, a service, something that would let me focus on running the store instead of building infrastructure. There wasn’t one.
The obvious starting point was the TCGplayer API. Their pricing data is the de facto standard for the secondary market, and a few years ago you could sign up and start pulling it. That door is now closed — TCGplayer’s API is no longer available to new developers, leaving anyone trying to build a Yu-Gi-Oh! store with no direct route to live market pricing.
The free alternatives all came up short in their own way. One had detailed card data but no images. One had images but no pricing. One had both but no archetype, level, or attribute information for filtering. None of them detected new sets automatically, and none of them turned any of it into actual WooCommerce products you could sell.
So I built Woo-Gi-Oh! the way I wished it had existed when I started. It runs on the YGOPRODeck API — which has a direct partnership with TCGplayer, meaning live market pricing comes through the same call as the card data and the images. Everything I needed, in one place, generating real WooCommerce products with correct SKUs, correct variations, and correct prices on the first import.
It’s powered my own store at ygo.superpro.games for 3, with over 60,000 active SKUs and prices that refresh themselves around the clock. I’m releasing it now because if I needed it, you probably do too.
